The two tabs engage the frame and housing of the Sonos sub and does not touch the Sub's rubber cone edge surrounds. Designed to be a tight fit so that it will not rattle. Tested to Sonos Sub Level +15 at max volume. Won't blow out, does not rattle. The Sonos Sun Protector is designed to fit tight and perfect. A loose fitting design was tested during prototyping and caused rattling and vibrations. This listing is for one pair (QTY2! - a Sonos Sub needs two grills). Comes in two colors (White and Black).
